Privacy Policy (English)
Effective date: November 3, 2026
This English text is a translation of the Japanese policy above, provided for your convenience. If the two differ, the Japanese text prevails.
This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) describes how information about users is handled in the app “Hiramie” (the “App”) provided by TDアプリ開発室 (Trust Delta Apps; “we” or “us”).
The App comes in an Android version and an iOS version. Where they differ, this Policy says “Android version” or “iOS version”. Anything not marked applies to both.
1. Provider
| Provider | TDアプリ開発室 (Trust Delta Apps) |

2. We do not receive any information about you
The App does not communicate with any server operated by us. We do not operate a single destination the App could send data to, so nothing you do in the App and nothing about the videos you play ever reaches us.
No account is needed, and we do not collect personal information such as your name or email address.
3. Where the App connects
The App connects only to equipment on your own side (3.1 to 3.3 below).
In addition, in-app purchases are processed through Google Play (the App Store on the iOS version) on the same device (see 6 below). The App itself never communicates for the purpose of payment.
3.1 The locations where you keep your videos
The App connects to the shared folder (SMB) or WebDAV / HTTP(S) server that you have set up as a location. What it sends is the user name and password needed to connect (according to that server’s authentication method), the path of the file being opened, and requests for the ranges of data needed for the current playback position.
You decide where the App connects; we are not involved.
3.2 Searching for devices on the same network (Android version only)
Only when you choose “Search this network” on the screen for setting up a location does the App look inside the network you are currently connected to. It does the following two things:
- For each address on the same network, an attempt to connect in order to check whether file sharing (TCP 445) is listening. Not a single byte of data is sent.
- Only for devices where it was listening, a small query asking for that device’s name (UDP 137).
The iOS version does not have this search feature.
Mobile (cellular) networks are excluded. The names and addresses found are only shown on screen; only the one you choose is saved on your device.
3.3 Queries that occur when you specify a location by name
On the Android version, if you specify a location by name instead of by address, the file-sharing implementation used by the App may send queries to the same network to resolve that name. This does not happen when you specify an address, and in either case nothing leaves the same network.
On the iOS version, a location specified by name is turned into an address by the operating system’s name resolution (DNS and mDNS). Where those queries go follows your device’s network settings (usually your home router).
4. What the App stores on your device
The App stores the following in its own private storage area. None of it leaves your device.
| Location settings | Host name, share name, user name and password; the last location you opened |
|---|---|
| Secret settings | Your secret password, converted into a form that cannot be reversed (PBKDF2 with a salt); which folders and files you keep secret (hidden); when they are hidden again automatically; whether biometrics are used |
| Display and playback state | Display settings, the position for resuming playback, the projection type of each file, video durations, and preview images for the file list |
| Playback time records | How long each file has been played |
| Purchase state | Whether the App is unlocked, and whether product information could be retrieved (see 6 below; the iOS version does not store this and reads the App Store’s purchase record on the device each time) |
Location passwords must be presented to the server every time the App connects, so they are stored in a reversible form. The password for secret folders and files is used only to check what you type, so it is stored in a form that cannot be reversed.
On the iOS version, location passwords and the converted form of your secret password are stored in the “this device only” area of the device’s keychain (not synced to iCloud Keychain, and never moved to another device). Preview images for the file list are kept in the device’s cache area.
Per-file records (the position for resuming playback, the projection type and the playback time) are stored under a value computed from the file’s location, not under the location itself.
All of this is excluded both from the automatic backup performed by your device’s operating system (to your Google account on the Android version, or to iCloud or a computer on the iOS version) and from direct data transfer when you move to a new device. The exclusion is set for each storage area, so any item added to those areas in the future is excluded in the same way. As a result, none of it is carried over to another device. When you change devices, you will need to enter your location settings again on the new device.
Videos you put into the App’s documents folder with the Files app on the iOS version are your own files, and the operating system handles them as such (including backups). They are not something the App records.
5. Permissions the App requests
5.1 Android version
| Internet / network state | For the connections described in 3 above |
|---|---|
| Reading videos on the device | To list videos saved on your device. You are asked only the first time you open the on-device tab |
| Biometrics | To use instead of the password when showing secret folders and files. Face and fingerprint data are handled by the operating system; the App receives only whether authentication succeeded, and never receives or stores face or fingerprint data |
| Google Play billing | For the in-app purchase described in 6 below |
5.2 iOS version
| Photos | To list the videos in the Photos app. Nothing is sent off your device |
|---|---|
| Face ID / Touch ID | To use instead of the password when showing secret folders and files. The App receives only whether authentication succeeded |
| Local network | To connect to a NAS on your home network (3.1 above) |
6. In-app purchase
The App offers a paid unlock (an in-app purchase). The purchase procedure and payment are handled entirely by Google Play (the App Store on the iOS version).
With regard to purchases, the App receives only the following three things:
- Which product it is (the product identifier)
- Whether it has been purchased
- Whether the App has acknowledged receipt (on the iOS version, the App tells the App Store that it has finished handling the purchase)
The App never receives or stores payment information such as credit card numbers or your name. The price shown on screen is the text returned by Google Play (the App Store on the iOS version), displayed as is.
As a result of a purchase, the Android version stores only two states on your device: whether it is unlocked, and whether product information could be retrieved. These are never sent to us, because we do not operate a single destination they could be sent to.
The iOS version does not store the purchase state. It decides whether the App is unlocked by reading the App Store’s purchase record on the device each time.
Payment information is handled in accordance with the privacy policy of Google, which provides Google Play (on the iOS version, Apple, which provides the App Store).
7. What the App does not use
- Usage analytics or measurement (such as Google Analytics or Firebase)
- Crash reporting
- Advertising
- Cloud sync or backup
- Social network integration or social login
- Location data
- Access to the camera, microphone or contacts
8. Disclosure to third parties
Because we do not obtain any information about you, we do not provide any to third parties either.
9. Deleting your data
All of the App’s data is stored on your device. Uninstalling the App deletes all saved settings, passwords, playback positions and preview images. Because the data is excluded from automatic backup and from direct transfer between devices, it is not restored when you reinstall the App or move to another device.
10. Age
The App is intended for people aged 18 or over. We do not collect or determine any information about your age. Age-based restrictions are applied through the settings of the store that distributes the App.
